Matthew Lambiase, D.O. Dr. Matthew Lambiase graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1994 receiving his Bachelor of Science. He was selected as a Phi Beta Kappa. He attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1999. After graduation, Dr. Lambiase entered active duty service with the United States Army and completed his internship at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA. His training in dermatology was received at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas after serving troops in South Korea. Dr. Lambiase served as Chief dermatologist at Darnall Army Community Hospital, Fort Hood TX, and as Chief of dermatology for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss TX. Dr. Lambiase achieved the rank of Major. His military honors include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. Dr. Lambiase joined Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute after completion of service in the Army; becoming a partner in 2008. He is happily settled in Northern Nevada and enjoying the wealth of outdoor activities our area has to offer. Dr. Lambiase is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
