Kimberly A. Kolar, M.D.
Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Kolar was born in Lake Jackson, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in Houston with a Medical Doctor degree in 1991. Her medicine internship was at the University of California in San Diego and her dermatology residency program was completed at University of Texas at Houston in 1995.

Dr. Kolar moved to the Reno area in 1996 and has worked at the VA Medical Center, and Air Center Dermatology before joining Skin Cancer and Dermatology Institute in June of 1999. Dr. Kolar practices General Dermatology to include skin cancer screenings, acne, rashes, biopsies, excisions and dermapathology.

Dr. Kolar is married and has two beautiful children, Elena and Eric. She is very athletic and in her spare time enjoys, running, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her children.

Dr. Kolar sees patients in Carson City and Reno. At this time, she is not accepting new patients.
