Schoening, PA-C Before beginning her education as a PA, she earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno. To remain nationally certified Mrs. Schoening will complete 100 hours of continuing Medical Education (CME) every 2 years and pass a national certification examination every 6 years. Mrs. Schoening joined Skin Cancer and Dermatology Institute September 2005. She sees patients in both our Carson City and Reno offices. Prior to that time, she worked in the urgent care environment in Reno. Mrs. Schoening is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and enjoys fishing, hiking and skiing. To

Schoening is a certified physician assistant formally trained in primary
care, from one of over 100 accredited academic training programs in the
U. S. Mrs. Schoening graduated from the Physician Assistant program with
a Masters Degree at Finch University of Health Sciences at Chicago Medical
School in North Chicago, Illinois in 2002.
